Context
Bremor, an expert in custom sandblasting machines, designs equipment for surface treatment. The UB150 SP16 machine was developed to meet the specific needs of a client operating in industries such as automotive and luxury goods. Bremor partnered with Alps Group for its expertise in electrical engineering and Beckhoff platforms, essential for integrating advanced automation solutions.

Implementation
- Under the leadership of an internal project manager, Alps Group engineers carried out:
- Electrical architecture and schematics using E-plan, along with 3D layout design
- Programming of Beckhoff controllers, Sick safety systems, Festo pneumatic controls, and Schneider drives via EtherCAT
- Manufacturing of custom control panels adapted to the machine’s structure
- Commissioning at the Vevey site and at the end customer’s facility, ensuring a tailored and optimized production process
