MATISA Matériel Industriel SA

Context

MATISA is a Swiss company specializing in the construction of railway maintenance equipment. The company controls the design, manufacturing, and commissioning of machines, including MATISA ballast cleaners and sievers, which renew and sieve ballast, with a working capacity of around 750 m³/h while in motion.

Following a request to build a machine for two European clients, Matisa decided to outsource certain services and called upon Alps Engineering for support.

Integration of various electrical design services.

Assistance with certain tasks within the Matisa production line, including electrical design and programming of specific machine sub-assemblies.

Achievements

  • Electrical study of the machines and complete schematics under E-Plan
  • Programming of certain sub-assemblies on Selectron PLCs
  • Assembly of complex control panels directly integrated into the machine’s structure
  • Participation in commissioning on the Vallorbe site
